Post and Glass
This system is fabricated in grade 316 (marine grade) stainless steel. Several surface finishes are available; polished, brushed or powder coating to any RAL colour.
Glass is available in clear, tinted or opaque screen-etched finishes. All glass is British Standard certificated.
Our post and glass balcony balustrades are fabricated from materials and components of the highest standards using either external grade 316 stainless steel for external environments or 304 stainless steel for internal projects.
The post and glass supports can be configured to be fixed to the side face of the balcony utilising an engineered baluster bracket or mounted on top of the balcony and secured through the decking to the balcony frame. Together with the safety glass the installation provides a safety barrier compliant with Building Regulations.
The posts are either 42.4mm and 48.3mm diameters and the choice depends on the specific requirements of your balustrade. We offer a wide range of frame infill styles, handrail materials and glass clamps options.

Post and glass balustrades:
Safety glass: Glass is either toughened or laminated depending on location and specific requirements of the balustrade. All glass is CE certificated and can be supplied in variety of shades and surface finishes including clear, tinted/sandblasted or screen etched.
You may have specific colour requirements. No problem, any components for the balcony frame or post & glass balustrade can be powder coated (with RAL number) to meet your requirements;
Handrail or no handrail solutions are possible. Other handrail materials are also available on request;
All test data and calculations for glass and fixings are available for Building Regulations applications;
